★ Frequently Asked Questions — Rockwell Ridge Retreat ★ ▹ Check-in & Check-out Times • Check-in: After 4:00 PM • Check-out: By 10:00 AM • Early check-in or late check-out may be available when possible for $20 per hour (up to 2 hours). • This fee helps cover additional cleaning support due to the reduced turnover window. • Unauthorized arrivals before check-in or departures after check-out may incur a fee of up to one night's stay, as the property must be properly cleaned and prepared. • Please message us if you need special accommodations. ▹ How will I get information about my stay? • Approximately 48 hours before your stay, you'll receive check-in details, access instructions, WiFi information, and a digital guest guide with property maps, house information, and our favorite local recommendations. ▹ Is this booking private? • Yes! This reservation includes exclusive access to the entire Rockwell Ridge property. • Your group will have private use of the Inn, Garden Suite, Chestnut Suite, Dogwood Suite, and all 20+ acres of surrounding grounds. • No other guests will be staying on the property during your visit. ▹ How are the accommodations laid out? • The Retreat consists of four private accommodations located on the same property. • The Inn and Garden Suite are connected by an interior staircase, and the Garden Suite also has its own private exterior entrance. The Garden Suite is on the floor below the Inn. • The Chestnut and Dogwood Suites each have private entrances and are located adjacent to the Inn, making it easy for everyone to gather while still enjoying their own private space. • The Chestnut and Dogwood Suites can directly access the Inn through a small bridge connecting the outside decks. ▹ Why choose the Retreat? • Rockwell Ridge Retreat offers the flexibility of four private accommodations while allowing your group to gather together on one beautiful mountain property. • With 6 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms, 2 full kitchens, and accommodations for up to 20 guests, it's perfect for family reunions, wedding weekends, corporate retreats, and group getaways. • Everyone can enjoy their own private space while still sharing meals, outdoor adventures, and time together. ▹ Can I ship packages to the property? • We do not recommend shipping packages directly to the property, as delivery timing cannot be guaranteed. • If you need to ship something before your arrival, please contact us in advance and we'll do our best to accommodate your request. ▹ Can you pick up groceries or help prepare for our arrival? • Yes—we're happy to help when possible. • We charge $25 per hour, plus the cost of any purchased items, for concierge services. • Past guests have asked us to stock refrigerators, pick up groceries, coordinate catering, decorate for celebrations, assemble furniture or equipment, haul luggage, and assist with other arrival preparations. • Please message us in advance so we can confirm availability. ▹ Are events or parties allowed? • Events and parties are permitted with prior approval. • We want to ensure compliance with local regulations while helping your group have an enjoyable experience. • If you're planning a wedding gathering, celebration, or other special event, please contact us before booking. • Unauthorized events may result in immediate cancellation without refund. ▹ Is outdoor music allowed? • Outdoor speakers are welcome at reasonable volumes. • No amplified sound systems or outdoor music after 10:00 PM. • Small Bluetooth speakers are permitted as long as they remain respectful of neighboring properties. ▹ Is smoking allowed? • No smoking or vaping of any kind is permitted inside any of the accommodations. • A minimum $1,000 odor-remediation fee applies if smoke is detected indoors. • Smoking is permitted outdoors only, at least 25 feet from buildings, doors, and open windows. Please dispose of smoking materials responsibly. ▹ What outdoor amenities are available? • 🔥 Private gas fire pit with seating • ⛽ If the propane tank runs empty, a spare tank is stored beneath the porch near the air conditioning units. Feel free to swap the tanks if needed, and simply let us know afterward so we can replace the empty one. • 🌄 Panoramic Blue Ridge mountain views • 🚶‍♀️ Miles of private hiking trails • 💧 Multiple spring-fed creeks for exploring • 🌲 Tree swings and wide-open green spaces • 🌌 Excellent stargazing and wildlife viewing Outdoor areas are natural environments—guests assume responsibility while exploring. ▹ Is parking available? • Ample on-site parking is available for multiple vehicles. • Primary parking is located in the gravel lot beside the Inn. • Additional overflow parking is available near the garage and farther down the driveway. • Please avoid blocking driveways or access lanes. ▹ What entertainment is included? • Smart TVs throughout the property • Indoor foosball table • Books and board games • Toys for toddlers and young children • Fast WiFi throughout the accommodations ▹ What's included? You'll arrive to a well-appointed property featuring: • Fresh bed linens and bath towels • Shampoo, conditioner, and body wash • Two fully equipped kitchens with cookware, bakeware, dishes, utensils, servingware, glasses, coffee makers, and cooking essentials • The Garden, Chestnut, and Dogwood Suites each include Nespresso coffee machines, milk frothers, tea kettles, and microwaves. The Chestnut and Dogwood Suites also feature mini fridges. • Starter supplies including toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, dish soap, dishwasher pods, hand soap, coffee, tea, and basic cleaning supplies For longer stays, guests should plan to replenish consumable supplies as needed. ▹ Is the Retreat family-friendly? • Absolutely! Rockwell Ridge is a wonderful place for families. • Available upon request (subject to availability): Pack 'n Play/travel crib, high chair, toddler bathtub, toys, baby monitor, stroller, car seat, and more. Please let us know before your arrival so we can have these items ready. ▹ What about power outages? • Weather-related outages are uncommon but can occasionally occur in mountain areas. • The property is equipped with a whole-property backup generator to maintain essential systems during outages. ▹ Will anyone be on the property during our stay? • Landscaping, trash service, or routine property maintenance may occasionally occur during your stay. • Vendors are instructed to respect guest privacy, minimize disruption, and avoid quiet hours whenever possible. ▹ What is the pet policy? • Up to 10 dogs are welcome with prior approval. • For everyone's comfort, please limit pets to no more than 4 dogs in the Inn and no more than 2 dogs in each suite. • $50 per pet, per stay (paid directly to our cleaning team). • Please clean up after pets and supervise them while outdoors. ★ Liability & Nature Disclaimer ★ • By booking and staying at Rockwell Ridge Retreat, guests acknowledge that this is a private rural mountain property encompassing more than 20 acres. Use of the accommodations and surrounding grounds—including hiking trails, creeks, the gas fire pit, decks, stairs, wooded areas, swings, and outdoor spaces—carries inherent risks. • Guests assume responsibility for themselves and all members of their party, including children, pets, and visitors. Extra caution should be exercised around uneven terrain, wet surfaces, wildlife, open water, fire features, and during inclement weather. • The property owners and hosts are not responsible for injuries, accidents, loss, or damage resulting from use of the property or outdoor areas. By booking, guests agree to hold the owners and hosts harmless from any liability arising during their stay. • Children should be supervised at all times, pets must remain under control, and the gas fire pit should never be left unattended while in use.
