★ Frequently Asked Questions — Rockwell Ridge Retreat (The Inn) ★ ▹ Check-in & Check-out Times • Check-in: After 4:00 PM • Check-out: By 10:00 AM • Early check-in or late check-out may be available when possible for $20 per hour (up to 2 hours). • This fee helps cover additional cleaning support due to the reduced turnover window. Unauthorized arrivals before check-in or departures after check-out may incur a fee of up to one night’s stay, as the home must be properly cleaned and prepared. Please message us if you need special accommodations. ▹ How will I get information about my stay? • Several days prior to check-in, you’ll receive a link to a digital guest manual. • This includes check-in details, house instructions, WiFi, property maps, and local recommendations. • You’ll also find our favorite wineries, breweries, restaurants, hikes, and nearby attractions. ▹ Can I ship packages to the home? • We do not recommend shipping packages directly to the property, as multiple vendors access the grounds and package security cannot be guaranteed. • If you need to ship something, please send us a message in advance and we’ll do our best to accommodate you when possible. ▹ Can you pick up groceries and/or run other errands for me ahead of my arrival? • Yes—we’re happy to try to help when possible. • We charge $25 per hour, plus the cost of any items purchased, to complete errands on your behalf. • While we can’t guarantee availability for every request, past guests have had us assist with grocery runs, catering coordination, party prep, assembling items, hauling luggage, and even stocking the fridge with drinks. Please message us ahead of time so we can confirm timing and availability. ▹ Is outdoor music allowed? • Outdoor speakers must remain at reasonable volume only. • No amplified sound and no outdoor music after 10 PM. • Small personal Bluetooth speakers are allowed at low volume, provided they do not disturb other guests or neighbors. ▹ Is this a private home? • The Inn is part of Rockwell Ridge, a scenic estate with four distinct units. • You may see other guests on the grounds, but each unit is designed to offer privacy and quiet enjoyment. • Shared outdoor spaces (trails, creeks, grounds) are meant to be enjoyed respectfully by all guests. ▹ Are events or parties allowed? • Events and parties are permitted with prior approval by the owner. We want to ensure we both comply with local regulations, but ensure other guests at the property are not negatively impacted. • This is a rural, peaceful area—respect for neighbors, nature, and other guests is essential. • If you’re unsure whether your group qualifies, please message us before booking. Unauthorized events may result in immediate cancellation without refund. ▹ Is smoking allowed? • No smoking or vaping of any kind is allowed inside the home. • A minimum $1,000 fine applies for violations should the cleaners smell smoke of any kind. • Guests may smoke outdoors on the deck or patio, at least 25 feet from open windows—please dispose of all materials properly. ▹ What outdoor amenities are available? • 🔥 Fire pit (use responsibly; never leave unattended) • 🚶‍♀️ Miles of private mountain hiking trails • 💧 Multiple gentle creeks safe for guest exploration • 🌲 Tree swings and wide-open spaces for kids and dogs • 🌌 Excellent stargazing and wildlife viewing Outdoor areas are natural environments—guests assume responsibility while exploring. ▹ Is parking available? • Parking is located in the gravel lot to the left of the driveway, near the Inn. • The lot is shared with other units but typically accommodates multiple vehicles. • Additional parking is available near the garage and/or farther down the driveway if needed. • Please park mindfully and do not block driveways or access paths. ▹ What entertainment is included? • Smart TV in the living room • Indoor foosball table • Books and light reading • Toys for toddlers and young children ▹ What’s included in the home? You’ll arrive to a well-equipped space with: • Bed linens & bath towels • Shampoo, conditioner & body wash • Kitchen essentials: cookware, bakeware, dishes, utensils • Coffee maker + basic coffee/tea starter • Starter supplies: toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, dish soap, dishwasher pods For longer stays, guests are expected to replenish consumables as needed. ▹ Is the home family-friendly? • Yes! Families are very welcome. • Available upon request (subject to availability): • Pack ’n Play / travel crib, high chair, toddler bathtub, toddler toys, baby cams, stroller, car seat, etc. all available upon request. Please request these in advance so we can prepare. ▹ What about power outages? • Power outages are rare, but weather-related interruptions can occur in mountain areas. • The property is equipped with a backup generator to maintain essential power during outages. ▹ Will vendors be on-site during my stay? • Landscaping and trash service may occur during your stay to keep the property in excellent condition. • Vendors are instructed to respect quiet hours and minimize guest disruption. ▹ What is the Pet Policy? • Up to 4 dogs allowed with prior approval • $50 per pet per stay (paid directly to cleaners) • Please clean up after pets and keep them leashed near other guests ★ Liability & Nature Disclaimer ★ • By booking and staying at Rockwell Ridge Retreat, guests acknowledge that this is a rural, natural mountain property. Use of the home and surrounding grounds—including hiking trails, creeks, fire pit, decks, stairs, wooded areas, swings, and outdoor spaces—carries inherent risks. • Guests assume full responsibility for themselves and all members of their party, including children, pets, and visitors. Extra caution is required when navigating uneven terrain, wet surfaces, wildlife areas, open water, fire features, and during inclement weather. • The property owners and hosts are not responsible for injuries, accidents, loss, or damage resulting from use of the home or outdoor areas. By booking, you agree to hold the owners and hosts harmless from any liability arising during your stay. • Children must be supervised at all times, pets must be under control, and fire features should never be left unattended.
